I make hand embroidered textile art pieces that celebrate queerness, kink and color! I start small, with pieces of fabric, embroidery floss and an idea inspired by my queer, kinky community. My work culminates in quilted pieces made to hang on the wall or drape over your bed. I believe that the vibrant world of kink should not only be on display, but be usable and touchable, making textiles the ideal medium for this work. Artists and makers have been using textiles and quilted pieces to express political sentiment as well as commemorate important life transitions and values since time immemorial. My work continues this tradition by expressing queer joy and kink in heirloom pieces that you can hold, snuggle up under, and pass down to the next generation of our community!
